“Tonight the Russians remembered the fallen dead in their previous defeat by the cheating chemical weapon using Bombers of the RAF, and they brought along the heavy anti-aircraft units to blow the planes from the skies.
In the first turn two planes were shot down for the rest of the game and things were going very well unfortunately in T6 right on the RAF TD line things went sour and the ball was lost and held away from the beloved Russian soldiers. 0 - 0 at half time and 46 - 79 against us on the RNG.
In the second half the RAF launched an offensive but made some mistakes in navigation which saw a plane pushed of the radar by the clever Russian gunners. Further planes were disposed of brutaly and the pitch was owned by the Red Army today.... a triamphunt march upfield saw the army trying to share the victory awards amongst all the soldiers, sadly some could not keep their hands in the right places, and the score went to the new Runner Ivan Petrov.
“Well a typical end to the story of this season! The team has had soo many inj this season its a wonder there is a team left!
But anyway... on to this match! The 1-0 score line just prove what a bad coach Russo is! only managing to score in the final turn of the second half when there was no opposition left on the field! They even to nearly mess that up too!! The guys to be fair was helped out today by a large portion of luck! with no major inj for the team and nearly managing to score. They even managed to brake the dorf cage to stop them scoring in the first half!
But as they beat the ruskies to win the 1st year title I supose it was just that they managed to scrape the return victory!!
Gratz”
