“The dwarves took on the very high and elvish Wyeth's Puppy Kickers and were stumped. The high elves scored a nice, though extremely lucky, touchdown in the first half and the dwarves didn't have enough time to retaliate. Then on the second half, the dwarves went on and scored a quite straightforward touchdown on the sixth turn of the second half. The match ended in a simple draw.
----
Well the elves sure had some serious luck on their side. Thei probably failed ONE of their SEVERAL dodges and were being generally irritable alltogether. The dwarves simply were not able to bring them down effectively enough. Only pushing the enemy back means slow advancement. And it cost a tying touchdown during the final turn of the first half.
The second half continued just like the first had ended. The dwarves tried to smash the pointy eared fellows to the ground, but with limited success. This time though they had enough time and were able to finally put the ball in.”
