“One of the most frustrating and gruelling games I’ve ever had to play. Thanks to 9+ reloads, this game went on for more than 2 ½ hours and by the end of it PianoDan and I were thoroughly sick of Blood Bowl.

That being said, it was a tense and thrilling game. A blitz right at the begining allowed me to sneak past the vicious Rotters and steal a 1-0 lead in the 2nd turn. PD then bashed his way up the field and equalised, 1-1.

Second half and a failed block (which worked on the first reload!) allowed me to quickly score again, only for PD to equalise. This is despite my Wizard opening up his cage, only to have the ball spill and be caught (twice!) by one of his other players.

Last drive for me, and I managed to get some players up field, only to have my ball carrier trapped by the beast! I pulled a lucky blitz with my ST4 lino and got the ball to receiver who double GFI’d for the win. Very plucky stuff! Dixie Chicks will be sorely missed though.

Well played PD, never made things easy for me. This game was a real endurance test, by the end my concentration was well shot. Good luck going for the title PD.
