“This was a wierd game. It was the classic encounter of Orc vs. Dwarf.

The dwarves bribed the ref before the game, but got so caught up with the rest of the game that they forgot to foul even once. There goes money out the window!!

The game started as the dwarves wanted, and we drove it downfield slowly. Setting up the score to a Longbeard. But the Runner first fumbbled the pass, and then forgot how to pick up the ball in the last turn for the score. (there may have been some dwarven coach stupidity, but lets not mention that!)

this resulted in a 0-0 first half. Not uncommon with Orc vs. Dwarf games in my experience.

2nd half saw the orc stealing the ball and making a 6 turn score. Leaving me with a sorry 2 turns to score with my slow dwarves!!!

I had already congratulated my opponent with the win at this point, and was just annoyed at my stupidity in the first half. But as Thebruce said, it aint over yet!

and boy was he right. When I recieved the ball. I knocked down a few orcs. and then sent everything I could downfield. 5 or 6 dwarves made it down there. and the runner succesfully picked up the ball and moved up the field.

The orcs did their best and sent my blitzer down, the one in reach of scoring. and I thought it was over. until I recalled that frenzy is such a wonderfull thing!

I used my trollslayer to blitz an orc blitzer, I took him down and with a couple of going for its, I was in the endzone. And the runner was left with a short pass to tie the game. And amazingly enough, he managed it without using a single re-roll! Go ag2 trollslaying catcher!
