Famous last words.
This was the most painfull experience of my life. I have had games with more cas... i have had games where opponents scored more.. but, this was soooo one-sided.
The black fairies won the coin toss.. they must have cheated. They scored REALLY fast. The game looked like it would be VERY violent, with a lot of pushing and shoving along the sidelines.
Matters got worse as the game progressed. For reasons unknown, a few norse players decided to follow up on blocks along the line of scrimmage, thus losing key positioning. (i think the elves had something to do with that... magic voodoo or something.)
The entire first half, the Gnadsmashers NEVER PICKED UP THE BALL! It is widely speculated that the dark elves drugged the norse water supply prior to the game (this claim is furthur supported by the much improvedplay in the second half, as the effects wore off.)
Finally, in the second half, the norse picked up the ball, made key blocks, and allowed Slava to dodge thru multiple tackle zones to score.
But.. after that, the trickery continued for the darkies... they jumped across the line before the kickoff (not the first time they did that in the game.) They manged another 2 fast points.
With the score 6-1, a situation was brewing. The thousands of Norse fans in attendance began to suspect the game was fixed. While hundreds rushed to thier local bookie, those that remained became restless.. and loud... and rowdy. Then, as is usually the case with the Gnadsmashers fans, chaos erupted! Thousands of drunken norse poured onto the pitch. The dark elves tried desperatley to seek shelter, but maximum damage was inflicted. 3 dark elve were KOed.. 3 more prone on the pitch. Unfortunatley, the norse fans hit much better than the Gnadsmashers... the team still failed to score on the drive.
A stunning 6-1 loss. A devestating blow to the teams moral.
The lesson of the day: dark elves cheat... the only way to stop them is to bring more fans to the game.
