“Squigs vs Horrors!
Of note are the greater horrors who have block on one and block/tackle on the other- dangerous!

We start out quite well with a kick to one side and near us + a BLITZ that doesn't achieve much but puts the ball under pressure. We manage to get the ball eventually but we are losing goblins at an alarming rate (including one BH to a hungry squig-hopper) so Lord Gnobbit pushes through to score the opening touchdown.

We kick and once again BLITZ - these gobbos have been training hard! This lets our speed-demon rush in and catch our own kick and some slip ups by the opponent's firewyrm allows us to run on and eventually score without too much trouble. The horrors try some TTM shenanigans with their remaining two turns, but with their greater horrors too busy blocking the normal horrors can't manage it and the half ends 2-0 to the goblinoids- but not before the ref throws out both flamers!

We receive for the second half and push forwards in numbers, eventually sprinting through once again with our speedy goblin- soon taken down when a horror is thrown back downfield. However we have the numbers advantage (just) and are able to bash a path for a rookie goblin to grab the ball and score!

And once again we blitz!! It doesn't help us much however and the next turn Flon Squig-Baiter manages to KILL herself trying to block a horror, ouch! At this stage we are running low on players with the squigs eating many and rerolls running low it's a bit worrying whenever they attempt anything!

The horrors do a sweet move dodging the ball carrier out from a squig + gobbo just by their own endzone and then a greater horror throwing him most of the rest of the way up the pitch and out of range of our team! We rush players back but he succesfully sprints the final squares on his turn for a brilliant touchdown!

The last turns are played out without incident and the final score remains 3-1.
