#9 Deep Blue – Dead (RIP)
Our horrors vs squig herders.
They start with the ball and with 3 squigs on the pitch- this is going to be bloody for both of us with all that RSC and OFAB!

Its nasty for us to begin with- by turn 3 we've taken 2 BHs and one death (only one BH regens). We push on towards the back with our remainders, where the goblins still haven't picked up the ball, hoping to at least sack them. Nope, we only have 3 players down there and their army soon pushes them away and grabs the ball! They push upfield with a squighopper and we try some desperate defense to mark him. Fortunately on his final turn instead of blitzing in the touchdown he can't resist the delicious squig herder next to him despite a RR!! The half ends 0-0.

We set up 8 versus their 9. A deep kick forces the Pink Panta back to our own endzone for the ball- meanwhile our flamer takes a disliking to our firewyrm and KILLs him with a bomb!! Luckily the expensive, unreliable thing regens...

The gobbos take advantage of the gap to come pouring through after our ball carrier! We retaliate by tossing a horror backwards and then falling over on a 2d blitz! The gobbos look to reduce our numbers by setting a squig on us but he merely EATS a thrall! the fans go wild!

We push up but it's difficult, losing the ball every turn and then regaining it. Meanwhile the herders are leaving the fields in droves from squig feeding habits gone awry! This lets us charge up and grab the ball and are free to sprint it in when the blitzing squig chomps on the very goblin who was trying to point out who to hit!

We set up 4 vs 5 and only a couple turns to go- can the goblins get a quick score? It's not to be as they fail the handoff to the waiting squig-hopper.

A win I didn't think I'd get back on turn 3. Our greater horrors would like to extend their thanks to Jesperius' squigs for their hard work in helping us achieve it!
