“A marathon of intensity lasting well in excess of two hours, this game saw the Skaven scatter downfield to score in the second turn. In response, hobgoblin-extraordinaire Grapes led a conservative 6-turn drive back upfield behind moving blocks. After nearly having his head removed by the Rat Ogre, Nozzle, he snuck through for a TD just before the end of the half.
With the score knotted at 1-1, the second half began with a bull centaur rush for a quick TD, allowing the Skaven (a seemingly endless) four turns in which to equalize. Befitting an event of such drama, the match ended with a diving scoring attempt by the gutter runner...which fell mere inches short of the goal.
