3 poisoned daggers and a decent gutter runner to contain- could be difficult for us!
We start with the ball and some good blocking early on causes 3 casualties in our first two turns. But then we pick a 'both-down' when we thought we had blocked with our block-horror (nope!) and cause an early turnover we weren't expecting! The enemy eshin assassin sprints through to our backfield and knocks over our greater horror with a 1d blitz to steal the ball. We try our best to regain it but can't even throw a block against him (slip!) and he dances in the opening touchdown with ease. In the meantime the two remaining daggers have done some damage but regeneration has been kind and no one's missing for the setup.
The eshin fans get the ref! Hopefully we'll keep them too busy trying to stop us scoring to line up any gang fouls. We push up but just can't find a way through and after a couple of turns we're just too slow to do anything else and have to settle for at least having not taken any fouls while the ref wasn't watching.
It's 11 v 9 but a thrown rock at kick off seriously injures one of our horrors (regen!) so it's pretty even. We push forwards but the 2 daggers are proving very difficult to remove and quite dangerous. Soon the assassin once again steals the ball (need a greater horror with tackle!) and runs downfield to score quite easily as we're quite outnumbered by then.
We have a few turns left and manage to beat our way forwards past the half-way line and then throw a horror upfield in the final turn to score a consolation touchdown, ending the game 2-1.
