“While I can agree that it is likely that Loki might have drunk something out of the ordinary, and while he did seem to be somewhat more bulky than usual in this match, he sure wasn't more coherent! The whole team seemed to be quite unsure as to what was expected of them on the pitch, and their punches didn't have the usual sting. In fact, as I recall they didn't manage to knock out a single elf during the entire game! How hard can it be? I mean:
1) Take a normal sized norse hand.
2) Take a normal sized dark elf.
3) Form the fingers into a tight roundish bundle, aka "the fist".
4) Slam said fist right in the elf's sallow forehead, somewhere between the eyes, or possibly straight over his/her Michel Jacksonesque nose (Now that I think of it, didn't that guy have a witch elf-look-a-like-period at some point). The groin is also a popular area in some circles.
5) Repeat point 4 until the elf stops twitching.
6) If there are still elves on the pitch, start again from top.
I must give credit to kn00b's play though, he managed to completely nullify the ST4 blitzer that I so hoped would wreck havoc in his line, and he managed to almost always operate with numerical advantage, while I overstretched myself quite often. Hopefully I'll learn and do better next time.
Thanks again kn00b for a game that was great to witness, even though it did hurt at times. ;-)
“Spectacular injury rolls handed the dark elves the game. Loki Blakaldur is suspected of illegal drugs - as he was being pushed into the crowd fans noticed his normal boozy smell had an added pungency. Norse coach Gran was a great sport, luckily for him only one permanent injury resulted from the game.”
