This time, however, I did learn something: the value of mobile guards. A fair amount of players on my team have guard, but they are all longbeards. With Ag2 and Mv4, they're not going anywhere until every opponent is down, and even then, very slowly. My opponent had 3 orc blitzers with guard, which proved instrumental in taking my dwarves appart. They could get to where the action was, and demolish my cage with frightening ease. My own guards were either deployed on the LOS, where they did got tied up for most of the game, or ended up covering the gaps made in the LoS due to lack of guards.
