“The game started badly for the Sand Fairies who blindsided two of the skeletons and badly hurt them both. The Elves then proceeded to play catch around the middle of the field while the mummies stared blankly on wondering how it was possible to pick up such a strange shaped object. You are supposed to crush strange shaped objects. Like Elf faces, all pointy and strange looking. Crush.
In their 3rd game, the Sand Fairies muscle (in the form of the 4 mummies but especially Stampy) really started to understand what they are supposed to do in a game of Bloodbowl. 9 casualties in total and 7 of which coming via the hands of the bandaged ones. Stampy the star performer for the Sand Fairies decimated 4 brave (stupid) Elves that stepped near him.
With the skeletons in such imperious handling form (those dexterity classes are paying dividends) and the mummies crushing all in their path, the Pro Elves were in for a long match. And so it proved when two thirds of their starting line up were in the SI and BH boxes at the end of the game.
Stupid move of the match goes to the Elf DP who, after being forewarned by the mummy, whom he was about to foul, that he had friends, still proceeded with the boot to the mummies jaw. One mummy block and a swift kick from a skelly later and the DPer was granted his second niggle of his 3 game career!
All in all it was a good game (for the Sand Fairies at least) with the Elves unflinching in the face of such overwhelming strength. They tried to give as good as they got but sadly they lacked the punching power that the brainless ones possess.
On a different day the Elves could have escaped victorious and with a healthier team. But not today.No Sir. Those mummies were mad. Showing off passing skills. No sir. Not to a mummy. Crush!

We receive and start running back and forth near the middle, passing the ball around like this is an exhibition match and there aren't 4 scary mummies pacing around the khemri backfield making faces at us. Eventually we try and push through and fail to knock over the mummy we ganged up on - a series of events which ends up with us running out of rerolls and the khemri getting at the ball and dragging it up the other end. A talented sprinting blitz by a lone block elf takes down the skeleton (and he catches the ball) but he's immediately badly hurt for his troubles. We try and set up a so-ludicrous-it-HAS-to-work series of moves that could let us score a touchdown but our lineelf disappoints the crowd by failing the 3+ pickup. The skellies then show us how it's done with a pickup, GFI, handoff and score!
We start the second half with a bloody attempt at taking down (and out) a mummy! We manage to get in 2 DP fouls on the toilet-paper woven beast but can only fail to break armor (at +5 sob!) and then a stun before he's forcibly removed via the boot (picking up a 2nd niggling injury!). The khemri pile forward with punches galore eventually shambling over the line for a 2nd TD in their 5th turn.
As a consolation prize our fans get the ref (where were you earlier!?) and our star blitzer SI's a mummy on the line of scrimmage. The game ends 2-0 though and a humiliating defeat for the elves!
Well won Vampy, I couldn't do much against those casualty-machines the mummies this game :P”
