We continue our E.L.F. cycle taking on Jekub's vampires - our first baseline game (+10 points) with their stronger TS and Jekub's high CR.

We push up one side with the ball but a sweet double hypno from the vampires lets them surround our blitzer and we fail to dislodge him on our turn. The thralls swarm in, knocking down a lot of elves and letting a vamp grab the ball and sprint downfield. We chase slightly, there's really no way we'll catch him and try and rack up hits on the thralls instead without luck. The vampire scores on their 5th turn.

We push up in the exact same way as earlier (en masse down one side) and once again the vamps take down our blitzer on the ball. But this time they are more interested in 2d blocks (injury rolls have so far been very, very kind to us!) than totally covering the ball and on our last turn we pickup and pass to an elf in the endzone to equalise the game!

In the second half some uncontrollable vampire bloodlust followed by a double skulls block leads to us running a couple elves in towards the vampire with the ball in their backfield but it's not much use as that vamp dodges off and then through a massive pile of thralls and elves at the LOS to dart towards our endzone. We take him down but it's only briefly as the rest of the vampires swarm up and drag down our elves, letting a vampire grab the ball and score to take the lead.

3-4 turns left each and no rerolls. Could be bloody- come on OFAB rolls!!
Our skilless blitzer is one GFI roll from making it to the endzone with the ball on turn 6 but KO's himself! A vamp gets to the ball and hurls it into the distance- and on our turn we get a lineman to the endzone and he fails to catch the on target pass! On the vampire's final turn a vampire grabs the ball and surrounds himself with players to effectively seal the result. On our final turn a block finally causes a casualty! The whole game saw a _lot_ of knockdowns but only 2 KOs and no casualties- strangely bloodless!

Well won Jekub and thanks for the game!
