“Stunty Rookie Rumble round 2! Our gnomes take on wacko's chaos halflings - similar to us that one guy has a skill (block on their carver vs tackle on one of our daredevils) and we're both sporting full squads.
A bad kick lets us give a touchback to our primed cannon in the backfield and the rest of the team can concentrate on taking out the halflings! #1 priority are the chainsaws, then the blodge carver. We move slowly up the field en masse, eventually managing to remove a few halflings and one chainsaw while the other chainsaw only manages a KO with the two attempts it gets. Our cannon fires the ball upfield on turn 6 (to empty space) and we spend the last few turns trying to get it over the line, eventually managing with our star daredevil in the final turn without rerolls and with some sprinting! The halflings gang foul a random gnome on turn 8, seriously injuring the little tyke but we can still set up 11 vs 8 for the second half.
We push forward and try and take down the (immediately started) chainsaw and head carver without much luck (the saw badly hurts our star daredevil at once) but we are able to scrag the ball carrier and then sprint away to safety with our rookie daredevil. The halflings try a few TTM attempts but with the minotaur covered in tackle zones they go nowhere. Meanwhile the saw has caused another casualty so we have to take it out - we engineer a 3d block with one of our cannons and KILL it! No sooner has the apothecary sewn him up but 5 gnomes gang foul the hapless sawfling, seriously injuring him .. in the groin. Ouch!!
We run in the touchdown on the final turn to make it 2-0. Thanks for the game wackogenius!”
