My long dormant Orcs face all-grain's ogres.

We receive but the ogres show unparalleled organisation with a BLITZ and we spend some time trying to reposition / pick ourselves up. But eventually high armour on our orcs and bone heads from the ogres combine to let us pick up the ball and move upfield (removing some gobbos on the way) to eventually score with our rookie blitzer on our last turn. Of note an ogre block kills one of the black orcs but the apo succesfully restarts his heart with some hefty kicks!

The second half starts with 11 v 11 again and we try and break through to get near the ball, eventually pushing through a pair of blitzers to hassle the ogre/gobbo by the ball. More boneheadedness gives me a chance to get near though not ON the ball though the goblins are proving more resilient this half and slowing me down considerably. Eventually we get a nice throw in from the crowd down to the ogre endzone, followed by a few smackdowns on some goblins (finally) - letting us get players near the ball and then the blitzer who scored earlier does a magic blitz for a 1d block on the ogre standing over the ball (seriously injured but the apo saves him), grabs the ball and sprints in the 2-0 touchdown!

The ogres once again attempt some throwing madness but can only manage a fumble like at the end of the first half.

Cheers for the game all-grain, good fun and chaotic as ever w/ ogres!
