Bucs pull out the 2 to 1 victory last night and get their revenge on the lizards for last seasons loss. It was a very close fought match and went to the wire. The first half the lizards attempted to stall out the half and get the late turn score but the Bucs hounded them all the way to the endzone and they had to go in on 1/6. Bucs get the ball back and quickly move down field for the 1/8 score to tie. Second half the bucs get the ball and dodge and move the entire half and keep the ball away from the lizards all half. A couple close calls and loose balls but the bucs hang on for the victory. The game ended on a Triple skull by the Krox to end any Long Shot hope for a one turner. A shout out has to go to his brave skink on 2/7 who leaped over the bucs to attempt a desperation 2 BD my choice to stop the score, but in the end he just got a fore arm shiver to the face and crashed to the ground.

Great game Alexis, we battled hard all night long. I have to say this was one of my favorite games since joining fumbbl. It had everything, devastating blocks, dodging, nasty fouls, good tactical movement, cages, side line play, quick strikes, a few crushing bone sound effects and a Got Ref who will rue the day he ever signed up to be a ref.

*The first half I had 3 guys BH or SI. Vinny T was KOed and never returned, BUT with my new strategy of not playing with 12 guys I was able to wither the early on slaught and able to field 11 players the entire second half.
*Blocking was "ON" tonight but could not actually hurt any one. Second half I got some fortunate CAS to keep my drive going.
*"Bad arritude" took exception with his skinks all night long and hounded them on every blitz.
*For all you doubters last season who thought I made the wrong choice with surehands on my blitzer, well tonight both times he tried to pick up the ball he rolled a 1 and I got the free reroll and picked the ball up on my second shot.
*The futility award goes to Bruno, on 1/2 he took a foul shot at his down DP and muffed it so bad he did not even break his armor and got sent off for such a poor display of foul technique.
