Spike Reporter - Tough game out there without the strength of Bubba to go against the troll.
Callahan - The team was shaken a bit, but they got it together in the end.
Spike Reporter - The calls on the field seemed a little slighted at times. Some calls made it possable for easy orc scores.
Callahan - Thats what you face on a road game. The ref stopped the game twice before kickoff to let the orcs reorganize their defense. That wasn't enough to give the orcs a comfortable cushion, so on the third kickoff, he made the Rednecks stand a full 6 counts before they could move or be called for another infraction. Not satified because Mitzer's chest was heaving, he stopped play, and gave the ball right to the orc blitzer.
Spike Reporter - Unreal. Will the team lodge a complaint?
Callahan - Naw, that's what you are up against in some away games. You think the orc Warboss cares, his home village won.
Spike Reporter - So how did you plan to work around this handicapp? Did we see that plan work in the game?
Callahan - For the entire game we put Daryle and Marie on the line of scrimage or near it to outrun the orcs. Billy Sirus and Daryle punched breakaway holes. The play worked beautifully twice in the last few minutes of the game to get the tie despite the kickoff calls by the ref.
Spike Reporter - It was a hard fought tie coach.
Callahan - Thanks Bill. You know, this is still a good football team.
