From the start, The Dark Elves of Evil dream had a glint in their eye as they surveyed the enemy: a bunch of round faced, rosy-cheeked pot-bellied little men, just queuing up to be battered!
The highlight of the first half was an impressive early touch-down earned when a Treeman Hurled one of his pint-sized teammates into Evil Dream's end zone. The Dark Elves succeeded not just surviving the onslaught of the powerful Treemen, but a seemingly endless swarm of hard-foulin' Halflings. By the end, the donuts were one up, but had suffered several injuries.
The second half, however, came together better for the Dark Elves. They still failed to score, but there was blood-a-plenty as the gently manner, and always fragile shortlings fell one after another.
It was a shame that luck was not present when the passing game needed to work at the very end for a vital equaliser touch-down, but that was apay off for the fortune that saw the Dark Elves remain fit and ready to inflict violence after a surprisingly brutal assault in the first half from their opponents.
The game was lost, but there was a lot of violence and a great display of malice from the twisted ones!
It was a good game!

#3 Original Glazed – Dead (RIP)
#4 Chocolate Iced Cake – Dead (RIP)
#11 Powdered Blueberry Filled – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#11 Powdered Blueberry Filled – Smashed Knee (NI)
Our brave halflings fought well this game, clinging to the win with their greasy little fingertips.

First half was fairly quiet - although we got the ref, and many fouls were attempted, none managed to do better than a stunned or KO. However, we were able to keep the ball locked down and Evil Dream's dark elves were unable to score.

Second half - all KO'd elves return to play.

A successful TTM play lands Cinnamon Apple Filled within scoring distance. He nimbly evades the elves that he was thrown next to, and moves in for the goal.

Our kick. Due to morley's, our kicker decides to sit out (again). In fact, Chocolate Iced Glazed does not play all game.

Once again we rely on guarding the ball within our half, and a heavy rain that starts to fall should help us do this (note: it does not - despite the rain, the ball is as easy to pick up as ever.)

We try another TTM late in the 2nd, but it fumbles, leaving the ball dangerously exposed. An elf swoops in, attempts to throw it over our heads (intercept fails), but fumbles.

Our st 7 tree blitzes, 3 skull/pows.

Ball is picked up again, attempts to throw over our heads (again), intercept fails (again), the ball is thrown, but the catch fails.

Halflings win, although it is a bittersweet victory due to the loss of so many players.
