“Stunty Rookie Rumble round 1! Our skyre slaves vs Rion's fairies. Should be bloody!

We're a bit messy at the back with pixies rushing up and hypnotising our ball retrievers early on, though we manage to eventually free ourselves and charge upfield a bit. However the fairies defend well, dislodging the ball and then sprinting off the other way with a pixie. We try to get at them but a failed dodge means they sprint on unopposed and our desperate bomb attempt can't stop them either and they run in the touchdown in the closing seconds of the half!

At one point we did crowdpush a leprechaun (taking a blitz and 2 blocks) - straight into our angry fans who tore him to pieces!!

We're 1-0 down and kicking off with 11 vs 10 (and a rock from one of our fans stuns one of the 3 treemen). They are keeping possession well and we're doing some desperate blitzes (also each team has gotten a kill each already- though ours is saved by the apo) and soon run out of rerolls which ultimately means we can't keep up with the fairies who soon enough score a second to seal the game with only a few turns left.

We get a touchback to our loaded blunderbuss and charge forward looking for a consolation touchdown - managing to kill yet another fairy with a mechavermin but and freeing up a slave who would have scored had he just caught the on target blunderbussed ball!
