“NBFL Superbowl II:
A zombie was tossed into a ravine on the way to the game and the ref seemed confused trying to count the Chargers while they palmed the coin. This lead to the Raptors kicking off to start. The first half was then a complete nightmare for the Raptors. CAS on turn 1 used up the apothecary...but the Raptors continued to fight hard. A blitz managed to knock down LT and the ball was free. LT dodged away and grabbed the ball again and took off but again gfi twice and this time tripped and fell. With the ball free, Jason Short grabbed it for the raptors - but the 5th snake eyes of the half on the 1 gfi after the pickup and Jason was KOed on the trip. Ball free, again LT scooped it up and scored for the 1-0 halftime lead.

With the second half starting, more raptors were leaving the pitch, a sauras was badly hurt, Westbrook was killed and another BH soon followed. However, the raptors scored quickly to set up an exciting finish to the game as over 4 turns remained in the game. San Diego got the ball into LT's hands again...but then after some feinting and moving around, a mummy needed a gfi - but failed and failed on the RR as well...with the opening, the raptors attacked and the ball was free...Jason drove into the middle of 2 tacklezones and snatched it...he raced downfield...into scoring position. Antonio Hates went after him...2d block by a non-tackle against a dodger...double push...RR...push and POW. Down goes Jason and then suddenly LT has the ball again. With Jason still able to get to the endzone, a 2d block on LT needed a POW...but was not...RR...still nothing. Now San Diego had a chance...some risky moves...but LT was free and racing downfield...handoff for the game? NOO...the ball slips from the receivers hands (3+ with RR), and the game is headed to OT!

Sudden death overtime: The raptors were fortunate to be receiving and also had a 3 to 0 advantage in RRs. Jason used a RR immediately in picking up the ball...Jason moves up...3+ pass and 3+ catch for the touchdown...no snakes on the pass as it is fumbled. San Diego races forward...but they can not get the ball, but 2 players mark it. The Raptors are runnning out of chances - down players and running out of RRs...double skull on first block and the last RR is gone. Now Jason has to do it the hard way...pickup in traffic and a few dodges and he stands at the brink of a TD...needs 1 gfi...and makes it! Touchdown for the raptors and a 2-1 victory.

A hard game for San Diego to swallow. They dominated all game long - yet the AG 4 stunty (Jason Short) came through and the raptors did just enough to steal the game and championship! A great game...looking forward to next season!”
