“Well, my second game. This time a win. I think I have played too slow.
I have learned a few things more:
- you can't pass after a blitz
- you can't choose blitz after having begun moving
- a niggling injury is a pain in the back (literally) :)
- re-rolls are a must (I learnt this the game before, now I have learned it again)
- elves use to be more time on the ground than standing up :( and you use to play with fewer players than the rest
- jumping
I have acquired two new skills but I have a niggling injury due to aging (on his second game!!!) Maybe I have chosen the new skills without thinking it too much
A lineman has a niggling injury because of the game (bad luck!)
I'm lucky I have played against players that not foul (only one time fouled after my opponent has rolled two double skulls ;) ) I cannot blame him for it
I'll continue learning
I want to thank Pyrate too for helping me giving me gaming advices
“There was a couple of things more I wanted to tell you.
1. Start your turn by standing the players that are prone and put them in position. I noticed you tried doing a couple of blocks before you raised them.
Even the ones that where far outside my tacklezones. They could easily have gotten up and provided a couple of assists.
2. Get an Apothecary and use him where needed (for niggling injuries and death).
Especially important for low armour rate teams.
3. I forgot...
Thanks for the game.
Even though I lost it was great fun.
Hope to see you on the field again.
Pyrate.”
