“I had several players KOed or BH early on in the first half (in which I received) and after having my ball carrier sacked was lucky to recover the ball with a blitzer and make an unreasonable number of dodges, go for its and 1d blocks to open the scoring. I managed to stop a two turn touchdown at the end of the half at the cost of more blood, meaning I started the second half considerably outnumbered.

I was worried that Sboub would stall in the second half, using the time to maul my outnumbered boys, score at the end of the half and go into overtime with an even larger numerical advantage; but he chose to score midway through the half leaving more than enough time for another score.

Possibly I could have stalled out the remainder of the half, but I didn't see any chance of outscoring Booo in 8 turns of overtime, so I tried a low odds gamble, tying up the defenders and trying to make a pass to a blitzer who had broken through the lines. Sboub's comments are wrong about this, it wasn't a fumbled pass, but was instead a failed GFI trying to change the range from long to short. The ball scattered into the crowd (I had moved to the sidelines so as to avoid the possibility of an interception) and the crowd threw it deep into my half alowing Booo to easily get the winner, after which we had an interesting chat about zombie quaterbacks and intercepting black orcs.”
