It started nice for us, with a mng on a lineman. Then it was all downhill for us. They KOd two turn1 and crowded another (which was part of my plan to score easier). They stun 2/3 and when we roll snakeeyes, they can get my ball carrier down. I fight using onedicers but dont see any pows. They score t5 and 10 on 10 we still feel confident we can score. However, a skull/both down is rerolled to skull/both down, stealing our last rr and causing an early turnover. Stupid rats cant even pick up the ball and at halftime i give them a nice yell.

Second half and luck changes to my side, although Cyco's orcs are truly sneaky - they roll double skulls (actually twice) and even badly hurt one of their black orcs on a skull/both down that is rerolled to skulls/both down, but they do it in the end of their turn and/or when we have 5-6 players left (none of them being gutters). We have a nice chance about half way in the game to get the ball and run off, but our stupid thrower fails the 4+ pickup in spite of sure hands.

Well, I have a lot to learn coaching skaven, that much is clear. Also, I have to admit I lost heart in the first half a bit. Second I had a few nice shots but without my gutters I couldnt do much. Really enjoyable game and Cyco sure deserved the win.

Note to myself: the strategy to line up rats to be blocked down trying to cause orcs to lose rr works - since 1/9 twodicers without block till result in turnoever - but only in theory :).
