“Game started out with El Mariachi kicking to some nasty looking necros who started thier slow drive down the picth, but seemed to get bogged down in the middle. A few skinks down and a couple of ko'd sauruses and things looked bad for the mexicans, until some tricky chainpushes freed the ball and off those speedy skinks ran with the ball. The only player fast enough to give chase was the necro's WW who frenzied himself into a 1db block and skull...killing himself to the delight of the sombrero wearers in the crowd. As the lizards stalled out the rest of the half the necros turned dirty and killed a sarus with a foul.

The second half began and although down on numbers the lizards were still looking good and as they bh'd a wight(regen'd) the necros were fast running out of useful players. A kick deep into the corner and a failed pickup scatteredthe ball more central, but no worry as nothing was yet to break though the lizard wall on the los. Another rr'd failed pickup and things were still ok with plenty of room between ball and necro. Another failed pickup and the necros were starting to get close...yet anoher chance at theball arises but is dropped again, but with the necro's only ag3 player tied up things aren't yet disasterous. Now a failed gfi brings the slow flesh goleums into the fight for the ball, still deep in the lizard half and a failed cruicial gfi seems to have handed the advantage to the necros as the goluem cooly walks forward and picks up the ball first attmept. However with skinks buzzing around the scene it should be hard for him to cross the line and a sarus russto blitz free and tie up the ball carrying goleum. unfortunately he rolls double skulls... and has to watch the goleum cross th line from the floor.

t14 and still 2 turns fo the lizards to get thier reply. Another wonder kicks lands as far away as it possibley could in the back field. leaving a skink-skink T16 short pass attempt for the win, which of course fails....

El mariachi are of course dismayed at not gaining thier first win and now may need a few soft matces to rebuild thier battered squad :/”
