“I lost this game starting with the coin flip. His very first Mummy on Black Orc block (first block of the game in fact) gave Durr a concussion and put him out not only for the match, but the next match as well. Coach Tommy Steele put the ball in a Zombies hands and caged around it. Down a player I put everything I had into stopping or breaking the cage. However it was a battle of attrition that I was losing rapidly with KO's, and BH's sending Orc after Orc to the sidelines. Mummy "Headache Sammy" lived up to his name with 3 serious injuries caused.
Down to 6 players vs 11, Lex Undead managed a TD right at the end of the first half with Newfie Stompaz receiving to start the second, however only 9 Orcs would take the pitch.
The casualty parade continued in the second with LineOrc, Goo'b being peeled from the turf and removed on a stretcher. Like Durr, Goo'b will miss the next Stompaz game.
A desperation pass failed to be caught and Lex's Undead AGL 4 Ghouls were quick to pounce on the error.
At this point, the Stompaz tried to get out of the way and minimize the damage as they were down to 5-6 players standing.
As you can see from the blocking stats 59 - 27, I spent the majority of the time picking Orcs up off the pitch. Rushing totals 26-6, reveal just how lopsided this match was.
69% - 55% luck didn't help my cause. 4 Blodged Ghouls, 2 wth AGL 4 did not help either... there was no way to knock them down.
But I do count myself fortunate that there were no deaths and amazingly not one niggling injury.

Headache Sammy knocked out a BoB in the first turn and with 2 more casualties in the game, he was the real man of the match. Posession of the ball showed crucial when the orcs could just field 9 players or so at the start of the second half, and the long pass for a lucky td chance was unsuccesfull and the Lex´s could use one of their 3 (!) ag4 players to securely handle the ball until the end. Throwup Tommy gave the Undead the second round ticket with an T16 td right at the buzzer.
Thanks to coach Wince who were a good sport in times of SI and BHs. Hope to play you again when nuffle evens out the 69/55% luck and let you play with more guys on the pitch.”
