After the abysmal performance last match coach Rockie got a good response. The Dauphins would have held on for a creditable draw were it not for an agonising last-second TD by star lineman Terence Tofu to win the game for the Guys. Said coach Rockie after the match, "we lost but I don't think we were outplayed, had the ball bounced differently we may have got something more from this game."

The Nice Guys opening drive was a flawless rumble up the pitch capped by a stunning Td by the surprisingly graceful Ogre Ricky Roadkill. The Dauphins made a good response with rookie reciever Warveld burning the Guys' defense for a quick fire answering score.

However Warveld showed his lack of experience during the second half, with the ball in his hands he needed only to dodge a simple tackle to have the endzone at his mercy. However he failed to slip past the tackle of Rimble and lost the ball. The Dauphins fought valiantly to retrieve it and for a time it looked as though they may have made the game safe.

Unfortunately for Monamie the ball ended up in the stands and a rocket armed spectator threw the ball back into play with a perfectly lofted pass straight into the hands of Tofu. The impressive Lineman sprinted downfield, De Kuechenberg was ineffective in trying to bring him down, and Tofu then made an exceptional job of shrugging off the Dauphin tacklers to score a heartbreaking Touchdown. ”
