This match started out with CoF having silly luck and SoM having almost none. CoF blitzed on the opening kick and easily scored a quick TD , putting all the pressure on SoM. After a perfect defense on the second kick, the luck slowly started to even out. SoM was throwing successful 1db almost all game. SoM's awesome blocking late in the first half prevented CoF from capitalizing on the perfect defense. Yet CoF played well enough to prevent those SoM from tying it up before the half.

Second half starts with CoF getting the ball. It seemed that SoM was more interested in bashing the chaos than playing the ball, allowing Leiknir "The Wild" and Gjaflaugr to play pitch and catch for an almost uncontested score, putting CoF up 2-0. After the kick, SoM attempted to move the ball up field, yet left the ball carrier uncaged. Leiknir twisted the dagger, by blitzing Brunhilde Baerson into traction and picking up the ball. Then Leiknir marched up the field to score on the final turn, after shaking off a pesky blitzer (for the second time this match).

Grodreg, rough game bud. We'll both have a hard time next round, you more so than me. You played as best you could, considering the ridiculous start I had... putting you in the hole early and almost making it 2-0 a few turns into the match. Until next time.
