“An excellent Fumbbl Tour match!

The game went back and forth, with Zergoth's Plague kicking to the Marvel Avengers. After a slow, grinding drive the Avengers scored, leaving little time for a strong response. But the Plague were up to the task, with Jell throwing a long pass to score as time ran out in the first half.

The second half began with the Plague a man down against the Avengers. But that didn't stop them from changing the odds, serving several casualties to the Avengers. The Plague marched down the field to score, but there was still significant time left for the Avengers to respond. The Avengers drove down field, knocking out and injuring people left and right (fortunately for the Plague all the casualties regenerated.) The Avengers scored with almost no time left.

Then it went to overtime. The Avengers were severely depleted in terms of manpower, but put up an excellent fight, forcing the Plague to score with just enough time left for the Avengers to respond. They charged down the sideline with great speed, knocking out anyone in their path. The Plague made a desperate charge, but failed to get to the ball carrier, who then made a difficult block, and went on to score as time expired, leaving the game still tied!

Following the end of overtime, the coaches came together to see the flip of the coin to see who would move on. The coin rotated several times in the air before landing with the symbol of Zergoth's Plague face up.

A marvelous game with luck swinging both ways at various points during the game. We both played hard and showed some of the best of both our teams.”
