Game 2:

Chi Town vs the Bad Bay Packers

Chi Town was a bit nervous about this game. They were giving up 3 handis and the ferocious Sea Dragons had dropped their stud blitzer Bronco Nagurski from the match. What was unknown to the Bears was that this game would be filled with skulls. Lotsa skulls....

The Packers received and began moving their cage up the field with their star catcher John Brese advancing the ball. He would be let down by his blockers as the first of many skulls crossed the path of the Packers leaving an opening for the Bears that they would not pass on. Brese was down a short time later and Gayle was advancing the ball.

Then a major turning point would take place in the match. Standing on the goal line Gayle would be knocked down not once but twice by brilliant catcher John Brese who did consecutive suicide (neg 2db) on Gayle unassisted and knocked out the ball. Chi Town would still have a chance at the end of the half to score when all they needed was a handoff to Gayle for an easy end of half TD. Unfortunately Gayle was still shaken up by the insane catcher and dropped the ball (1).

On to the second half as the Bears shook their heads. What was up with this group of Packers? A second match in a row of cheese heads who just won't quit. Chi Town knew their only chance to win was for someone to step up and hurt somebody. Theres no doubt who that someone is and it didn't take long before the "Big Man" Dick Rearendkis got involved and removed the first Packer.

As Bad Bay continued to put on the pressure the Bears tried every dirty trick they could to remove Packers. Eventually it worked and the Packers had to resort to less successful tactics to try and hold them back. This would create a hole for Gayle who ran for his life scoring before the whistle blew.

Another incredible match and well played by WH. The Packers though looking a bit thin play like Giants. Unfortunately their boneheading Ogre didn't help them as they needed this game but none the less the Packers will be a thorn in the side of many this season. Bears 1 - 0 Packers
