“Janzki had spectacularly bad luck in this game, so I can hardly blow my own horn here. He kicked, I scored, I kicked and got a blitz! and eventually scored to end the half. It's worth noting that he did make a spectacular play to try to set up an offense that drive but he tripped while dodging (several times, actually) and I snuck in and broke it up. Also, he almost tied me up with a vastly outnumbered squad, but I slipped free there too... twice.

Second half, I kicked and managed to turn it over and score thanks to yet another double 1. The last drive he ran a strong offense (with 7 players at this point!) to the verge of scoring, but I managed to sneak the ball away and got within 2 spaces of scoring again myself, but tripped on the first GFI (RR used on the pass already) and thus ended the game.

The good news was that no permanent damage was done and Janzki will be in even better shape to face the next opponent. Oh yeah, that and I won. :)

Seriously, Janzki was playing great and making really fun, ballsy plays, but he was outclassed coming in (2 MNG and the niggler sat out) and his luck was horrible. I think I may have been in for a shameful upset without the latter on my side.
