“Gary Rhodes sat out this game due to the greatest handicap. He was overdue for a break anyway. The flings filled up the ko box pretty quick initially, but managed to hang around after that. Paul Bocuse even managed to return some punishment with a SI. We suspect he snuck a mallet onto the field! A nice deep kick (in the td zone) made for slow prgress by the flings in teh first half. The cage crumbled after the trees couldn't make it back to support. After some desperate scrambling the chefs made a pass for the T8 score, but the sun blinded the thrower, and it was incomplete.

The second half had The elves make a break for it down the sideline, but a lack of rerolls stalled the drive and allowed teh tree to arrive and lend some aid. A crowd throwin put the ball close enough to halfling hands, to allow a 4 turn sprint for the line!”
