The game started out with the skaven kicking in blizzard conditions and a t0 pitch invasion meant the DE had to fall back and leave thier stunned bestplayer open to a foul - although only bh zombi decided to apo. next turn and zombi fails a pass before standing him up and i foul him again to KO with my dp being ejected. zombi then start a slow drive down the pitch where nearly all of his blitzes end in a KO, my apo goes when my sole remaining dp was BH - thought i could do with keeping him around for the rest of the game :) With the skavs down to about 5-6 players by T7 and the ball heavily caged things weren't looking great and i needed to try something desperate. With a -2db i chainpushed the ball carrier to the edge of his cage and dodged with my sv to get a 1db pow, scattering the ball nicely for me. My spare gutter then picks up the ball and runs off with it, things turn from drastic defence to possible attack as i have an unmoved lino standing on the halfway line who if he could catch the ball had a certain score. unfortunately he failed and it went into half time 0-0.

i had the advantage reserves wise, so we started the second half 10 vs 9. I pushed stronly down a wing and decided that rather than risk losing players trying to stall i'd score in 3 and try to defend. zombie started his drive and caed up, an unlucky dropped handoff and the wrong player catching the ball gave me an early shot at the ball, but i blitzed it back into the cage and back to the player the original handoff was meant to go to. he then decided to rush forward still looking for the win, with his ag5 blodge with the ball and my only tackle guy stranded on the wrong sideof the pitch things looked good for him. i had a decent shot at a 2db and without tackle, or even block, i managed to roll a pow! then with some lucky dodging managed not only to secure the ball but to make a mini cage, as well as foul out his blodger! by this time zombi was out of rr and couldn't down my blodge gutter with the one shot he had at him, who then ran off up the pitch to score the second and secure the win and promotion to the conferences!”
