A very lucky win to break Coach Ryce's long dry spell. The Faithful Rot came out swinging, but Ice Nine slowly slid down the field and scored late in the first half, thanks to some poor luck for the rotters. The Rot would respond with their own impressive touchdown late in the second half.

Cold Shoulder picked up the ball, threw it to Snowcone, who ran up and handed it to Absolut Zero. Zero was able to hold off the attacks with the assistance of Lord Kelvin. Kelvin then opened up a small glimmer of hope... Zero dodged out of the tackle zones and sprinted in for the winning touchdown!

Absolut Zero has shown an impressive nimbleness. Trimble Tromble, the new troll won MVP for staying up the entire game and never going stupid! Let's have more of that.

With the winnings, Ice Nine picked up two new hobgoblins to flesh out the line. And they'll need it. Two undead teams, two khemris, dwarves, nurgle... this isn't going to be an easy season for any of the new NWL teams.

Good game, Xyon.
