“Nice first game for Breakers. Geckos were missing a few players which no doubt put them at a disadvantage, and suffered some poor luck including failed pickups, double skulls, a failed apothecary roll, a thrown rock badly hurting a saurus, and a serious injury on a failed go for it: the second half saw less than 7 opposition players on the field, with a constant dwindling number. Geckos never really in it, but did score a superb TD with a blitz down the left leaving the dwarves firmly on the backfoot, with no mobility to cover.”
