“Odd match this one. Should have been 1-1 really, but that's BB I guess.
1st half, Chaos on the ball, doing what they do best. That is slow rummbley smashy killy up the feild to score. 1-0. Then comes time to set-up again. Now being nice I'd deliberatly not stalled when scoring, but figured with only 2 turns left what chance did the Elves have? Well, alot. A truly STUPID set-up, coupled by me underestimating the power of AG4 +Dodge means its 1-1 going into the second hand.
I learn from my mistakes and set up better in the 2nd half, but the Elves still manage to avoid all my pointy players, make me look slow and stupid, and score again. 2-1 to them. With four turns left I start my slow rummbley smashy killy plod up the feild again but my opponent is doing a wonderful job of preventing me from getting anywhere near the endzone.
At this point I'd like to say what I love most about beasties is that, although they are typically a bashy team, they do have an advantage over, say, Dwarfs or Undead, in that they can pick up a bit of speed when they need to. This send the beaties running down the left side with only one Elf in their way. 2 X Push rolled. My opponent re-rolls. 2 X Skull. I score. Beasties cheer
As I said, I shouldn't have been so daft at the end of the 1st half, and my opponent had terrible luck in the closing seconds. Should have been 1-1.
