Our elves take on maryjuano's similarly-rated skaven (though not enough to make it a baseline +10 pts game).

We're forced to use our apo early when their MB/RSC vermin seriously injures one of our blitzers- we're going to have to remove him and soon!

They push through the middle with some good blocking and blitzes and we can't take down their ball carrier despite burning some rerolls trying our best. However we get our chance when they move things over to one side and their gutter runner drops a handoff (no rerolls left). We capitalise by dodging over one catcher who picks it up with nerves of steel, then passes to our other catcher (also in a tackle zone) who catches and runs downfield! When they fall over trying to block their gutter runner free we essentially get a free turn and knock down anyone who could get near our catcher by their endzone. We go for a few turns stalling to try and avoid another kickoff this half, and the skaven go for injuries rather than trying to get through to our ballcarrier, so we score on the final turn of the half with ease.

Unfortunately our DP/dauntless elf fails to wake up from the KO box and we will now set up 10 vs 11 for the second half. We push up one side looking for the quick score but a great blitz by the skaven nets them the ball with one of their gutter runners- it doesn't last long as we blitz him down, knocking the ball into the crowd, who throw it straight into the double-tackle-zoned rat ogre's surprised hands! However we are able to 1d block him over and grab the ball with a blitzer. The skaven engineer a blitz but they can't knock him down and we are able to free him easily and run in the 2-0 score on our third turn. Our DP remains KO'd :(

Our bad kick ends deep by their endzone and everyone but their thrower is on the halfway line, so when he picks up the ball he is very lonely at the back. We push players through ready to hassle him and when the skaven reroll a 2d push with their RSC vermin into double skulls we get our chance! We manage a 1d blitz to KO the thrower and pretty much secure another touchdown with no skaven nearby to get back. Since it's so safe we try some other stuff (and fail) and they get a couple skaven up by the ball. We merely have to dodge away for the touchdown but our catcher manages to fail his dodge (rerolled) and badly hurts himself! Fortunately next turn despite a skaven lineman recovering the ball we manage to take him down and then sprint in the TD to make it 3-0.

They have only one turn left but roll Injury Time to make it 2 turns! So they could still score...

However instead of moving players into our half who could receive on their final turn and score they pile around our prone LOS thrower to gang foul him (to a stun) - strange rats!
