“NBL7s 3 player tournament. game 1 our necros vs new ogres.

We swarm our zombies around the ogres, hoping to slow them down while trying to get our wolfy and ghoul through to the goblins with the ball. Eventually we use our leader reroll to dodge Howler away from an ogre to blitz down a goblin and grab the ball. We try and stall to turn 8 so we don't have to set up for another ogre LOS-bashing but get greedy trying to take out some goblins with the werewolf and in the end lose the ball and can't quite make the pass to score on turn 8!

We push up one side but then lose our ghoul/leader to a blitz (into the BH box) and from there it's difficult city for us as our werewolf is forced to do a LOT of dangerous dodging and blitzing - eventually KO'ing himself on a GFI with the ball. That leaves just 2 zombies and flesh golem on the pitch vs 3 ogres and both gobbos. It looks like it's going to be a 0-0 snorefest but the 2 goblins manage to set up a passing play just in the nick of time to score in their last turn and win the match!
