Despite trouble getting our game started on the 4 proxy servers we eventually got going on the Australian server. Both coaches were in the mood for a bruising game by then!
We received and made a strong push, but the str 5 (with aid of runemaster!) runner on Force's team grabbed the ball and bashed and dodged his way back to my end zone. Fortunately, inspite of the blizzard conditions his luck ran out as he was splatted by some desperate last ditch defending... 0-0
2nd half was nasty.. but the ref was on form as he spotted both an early and a very late foul from Force's side. The Diamond Miners got into their game and bruised back with their fists and not their boots... Gradually numbers were on my side and we grabbed the ball for a late TD... 1-0.
