“Stunty NBL7s quick tourney final! Our chaos halflings face Impaladan's gobbos!

They start things off with a free reroll- priceless when you're not allowed buy any!! However we make an even better start with a blitz BH'ing a sidestepper in turn 1- hello player advantage!

On our 4th turn we FINALLY manage to start the chainsaw and use it to great advantage blitzing the +STR gobbo with the ball to the BH box- causing Impaladan to use his apo. Immediatly after 3 goblins blitz him down, badly hurting him back! We go for the apo to try and save him as he'll certainly claim more goblin casualties but we've unfortunately hired a quack! The goblins move well and make the pickup and score after a goblin-friendly bounce, 1-0 to the greenies!

We set up 5v5 for the last few turns and the gobbos take advantage of a slip up by the halflings to charge forwards, uh oh! It's all we can do to stop them scoring agian!

However half time rolls around and both our halflings in the KO box refuse to leave, holding onto their beds with tightly gripped hands until our coach stomps off in a fury! That means it's 5 gobbos vs 4 halflings.

And on his first block of the half their troll has KILLED our mino (no regen) !!! Surely this will seal the game? When our next move (a simple halfling dodge) leaves him in the BH box I think we can all agree that's it! We have our chef and one halfling left on the pitch and the goblins advance with ease. We bravely try blitzing several times with our chef- until he rolls a skull and is KILLED! Ouch!

They then score the winner unopposed - congrats on the win Impaladan!”
