“Our chaos halflings continue their NBL7s campaign after a disastrous instant tourney final (death of the mino and head carver!) vs tzilacatzin's fairies.

Our strategy: start chainsaw, kill as many stunties as possible (ignoring the temptation of sawing at the trees). The fairy fans get the ref at kickoff!

It works ok, using up their apo and then BH'ing a pixie but in the meanwhile we are taking KO's like crazy and they manage to grab the ball and then watch laughing as our chainsaw falls over trying to GFI to saw the ballcarrier. They waltz in the TD but not before fouling the saw to the KO box. With our mino already in there and neither waking up it's chaos halflings only for the remainder of the half! Our fans then get the ref to give us something to do for the next few turns :P

2nd half and our mino and saw wake up, thankfully, but there's 2 more halflings in the KO box and we have to set up the other 3 on the LOS. Our new mino quickly badly hurts a pixie with his blitz while the chainsaw is failing to start and the fairies make good work of moving the ball upfield. With our chainsaw still not started they run right by him with the ball in their little hands, sending him into a fit of rages and blitzing that eventually end with the remaining brownie and pixie off the pitch (though it was just a dodge away to score at one point for the brownie). There's just a rooted treeman left in the middle and 3 turns. We prime one halfling and our mino 'receiver' to try for the touchdown while mr saw starts up his tree-feller, grinning like a priest in a hedge..

And he lets the saw rip through the tree on the final turn! But it's only a stun :)

Meanwhile our throw attempt doesn't go anywhere and the fairies win 1-0!”
