“What a game!

Thanks to a monster gap and a great big hole in the LOS (made by hypnotic gaze!) I was able exploit a perfect defense Kick Off result and score early.

Other than that it went badly, YUMI TUMI the new Thrall to grace the ranks of the 'promise lasted a massive 1 TURN! before falling to a hairy arsed norseman. That Thrall has a lot of promise (in an undead team!)

Armour 7 turned into armour 3 and I had a KO box full and my apothecary was on red alert. The norse boys strolled into my end zone for the equaliser.
the 2nd half was the same, once again I got INTERCEPTED again! I am cursed by this! (check my interception stats and LAUGH!) Still, Emrick left me a gap to exploit with one of my Vamps so I took my chance, got the ball free and RAN! Luckily my Thrall was was too far away for the snakes on a GFI to make a difference. At this point I would have been happy with a draw, my apoth used, 1 Thrall dead, 1 SI'd (no perm) and a few BH/KO'd. Luckily for me Emrick threw 1 block too many in trying to get a late equaliser, so it a win for the 'Promise!

A good tough game, and a hard fought win!
