#9 Brother Grunnie – Dead (RIP)
#11 Brother Che – Dead (RIP)
From my perspective a classic BB game. Death and mayhem a plenty. Quad Skulls. Fouls, GFi's that failed and worked and a last turn Kill, pick up in tz. VERY long throw and td.

Insane and incredibly lucky, yet a cracking end to a cracking game.

Asmo chose his humans from three possibles and it gave us a game to remember, he was a gent throughout and didnt curse his luck or the deaths.

Ah the deaths. And Ogre, a Str4 Beast on 75spp, a decent human blitzer and a one skill Beast. + a MA10 catcher niggled.

Nuffle exacted his toll, and the price for fun was heavy today.

Yes a game that could only be described as a classic. Both apothecaries were enjoying the game from the bar and treating Nuffle himself to a pint of his favourite - and the teams took advantage of this, smashing themselves to pieces to make a great game for the fans to enjoy.

Turn 16 was one to remember - the Golden Helmet had misplayed but out-lucked their chaotic opponents to what they were sure would be a satisfactory tied result. But in the dying seconds coach Asmo spotted PupleChest screaming his masterplan for victory, and boy did his players respond. Smashing the Ogre to a crumpled and very dead heap on the floor, a path was cleared for a chainpush blitz to loosen the ball from a maul of protective humans. the blitz killed the human victim outright, and some lovely dodging and a long bomb pass gave the Purple Paladins a well deserved victory.

Even retiring one of the fastest humans in the game was a price worth paying for enjoying a game like this.
