“Our No-Block League rookie campaign continues with game 3 and some hot necro on necro action: can we get a win at last!?

Things start off with a lot of punching action up and down the line- of interest our zombie KILLing one of their flesh golems with a 1d block (to free our wolf to blitz one of theirs). He does however regenerate! Soon after we eject both ghouls from the stadium (uninjured) and are looking to score when a 1d blitz from one of their wolves gets both down vs our agi 4 wolf: both seriously injured! Ours will be a 2nd niggle, surely ensuring his retirement.

We grab the ball with our ghoul however and soon get a numbers advantage with all the crowd-surfing the enemy are doing- we score without any risk to our ball carrier on the final turn of the half. With only one KO roll (failed) their remaining wolf will sit out the start of the 2nd half.

We use our wolf to great effect for the second half, clearing the way through for our horde of zombies and the ball in our ghoul's hands, opting to stand by their endzone stalling and deciding who should score. However their prone ghoul who just resisted a +4 foul bounds to his feet and dodges out through two tackle zones to 1d POW our ghoul with the ball- nice move! We take him down but not out and once again he summons super powers to blitz our wolf with the ball at -2dice: both POWs!! This time we decide it's time for definitive action with all 4 nearby zombies (plus the ghoul and wolf) piling around for a festive gang foul! A massive stomp on the ghoul's groin leaves him seriously injured! Where's the ref? Wasn't he meant to have his eye on us? Wait- why's he staring the wrong way .. ah, it seems the Bloodweiser stand is running a Become A Bloodweiser Babe show! Would you look at those bikinis!?

Back to the game!

With no ghouls or wolves left to get near us there's little the remaining enemy necros can do to threaten the ball and our rookie wolf runs in the TD on our final turn to secure the win: 2-0!
