The B-Block Bashers are usually cursed in their Penal League matches, but against the McMurty Dozen they got a good start. Two casualties, both blockers, during the two first turns gave the Bashers a numerical advantage. Despite outnumbering the opponents they often stumbled close to the end zone line. Despite having a blodger and the opponent no tacklers the catcher was often brought down.

During most of the match the ball switched possession almost every turn and the crowd got a nice exciting spectacle when the teams ran back and forth trying to get the ball those last yards.

In the 2nd half the Bashers were lucky with the kickoff results. A blitz on the first kickoff eventually lead to a TD and then they got a perfect defense on the next one. This turned out crucial and the McMurty men were getting tired and started rolling skulls by now.

In the end the Bashers could hold their defense and even run in 2 - 0 in the very last turn of the match.

Thanks for the match, Walks. You made some hard rolls to stop me, but in the end I got luckier than you. A very rare experience for me, hehe.
I think you have high chances of reaching the playoffs if you get your matches played though!

#8 Vernon Pinckley – Smashed Knee (NI)
The McMurty Dozen were handed their second defeat today. They held in despite being outnumbered, and even had more men on the pitch at one point. However, some foolish decisions kept them from capitalizing on the opportunities they did have, and eventually they were ground down by their numerically superior opponents.
