“The Howzez are on offense in the first half, but a bout of luck for the elves (Ending the half 45-70 or so) slows the drive to a crawl. The half ends with the ball-carrier, Fathanded Ibkib, barely over the line of scrimmage. The Elves make a lightning drive in the beginning of the second half, scoring on turn 3. The Howzez receive well and put together a solid cage in the backfield, then grind forward, veering to one side by the time they reach the LoS. Then things turned really bloody for the elves - By the end of the match, less than half remained on the field, and what was left of the Elves' catcher was mostly stuck to the bottom of Jufe's boot. Ibkib defied all expectations by sprinting in for the tying touchdown in the final seconds of the match.
Asked whether this was enough Elvish blood spilled to pay back for the loss of beloved rookie Griv Bonesocket, Zak Bootjaw said it was a "gud start."”
