The Chaos Gods are fickle, engulfing the stadium in a typhoon prior to this match starting. The rain and winds made things difficult for the Chargers in this game. Meanwhile, the elements seemed not to affect the pesky elves.

The star war dancer of the elves, gracefully landed face first in the center the Charger's offensive formation. Luckily for him Blard Mulebreath is still working on the techniques that he learned from "Dirty" Dan's training, Altorë avoided the brunt of the foul and managed to get to his feet moments later. Failing to remove the prissy elf with a well place boot, Blard took out his aggression on another elf that happened to get in his way... knocking him off the field, carried off on a stretcher.

Moments later the calls for the paraclerics filled the air, this time Lexem got a hold of another of the elf fodder, who also needed a stretcher. The Chargers started celebrating a bit too soon though, not expecting the remaining elves to play with any motivation. The pansy elves managed to perform a couple amazing feats of agility to steal the ball and pitch it to an open player up the field. The elves scored a defensive touchdown to end the first half, as well as knocking out poor Blard.

The second half saw Blard still recovering his wits on the sidelines. Although, the elves were still out-numbered as they received the kick-off. The Chargers stepped up their game, stone walling the elves' attempts to free a player up on their side of the field. Finally in desperation, the elf with the ball, heaved it down field... hoping the the Chargers wouldn't manage to recover it and score with only moments left in the game. The scramble was on, Gord Greenfeet, maneuvered back to near his own goal-line. Reading his teammate's blocks perfectly. The out-numbered elves tried to get back on defense, but dwarves boxed them in on all sides. Allowing Gord to rumble in and tie this game as time expired.

The Chargers pull out a draw in a game that they probably should have lost. Zendzabar be praised.

drbunny, had some awesome luck in the first half. Only one reroll and managed just one turnover (a failed leap in the first couple of turns). Other than that, a pair of double skulls for me, allowed him an easy defensive touchdown to end the half. In the second half, the luck evened out and this one ended in a draw... even with him playing keep away for the first few turns. Followed by a long pass to my goal-line. Attempting to secure the win, by hoping I couldn't get the ball and move it all the way down the field in the remaining four turns.

Well played drbunny, until we do battle again.

The Chaos gods definitely played a part in this match. How do you think those foul chaos stunties manage to draw? Speaking of fouls, this is second time in two matches where one of my star players was unfairly assaulted. What did the refs do? Nothing! If the refs keeps this up and does not do something about the dirties in this leagues, they will get a visit from my new recruit, Hevea Brasiliensis. Also for any other players thinking about employing dirty tactics, Hevea will show you the error of your ways.

We like also ask the refs to magic tests all players before and after matches. We suspect some players are getting unnatural enhancements. How can you explain clumsy Hobgoblins picking up the ball, dodging out, passing and catching in pouring rain?!
With great skills we manage to defend Loren (muddy)Greenpatch.
Wraith played excellent second defense in the second half, just couldn't get the opening needed to score that nail in the coffin touch down. Forced me to play negative ball which didnt work.

Glad ur in the League to help with fluff
