The second game of the season were against the Insane Mermaids (strange name choice). The players in SOC seemed a bit worried that the humans had on ogre on their team, something that just made Snorri a bit "happier". The SOC got to a flying start knocking over the ogre like a big tree, but then Brago got the stupid idea to jump on the ogre's nuts, something the ref didn't like and sent him early to the showers. With one man, I mean dwarf, short it looked like the Mermaids might have the advantage rest of the game. But with the ogre smelling his own fingers for most part of the first half, Groz got a opportunity to snatch the ball a go for the SOC's first touchdown. They didn't however cause any casualties, they just seemed to push them around a bit. The first half ended 1-0

The second half was a remake of the first. The ogre didn't cause any damage before the dwarfs could overwhelm him and Snorri got tired of waiting for some action so he started picking on "the small ones". It wasn't long before Groz caught scent of the ball once more and did everything within his power to claim it. With a lot of team effort he managed to grab the ball late in the game a run for his second touchdown. The fans cheered them all the way to victory despite the fact they didn't make a single casualties among the Mermaids.

MVP - Draki Three-Toes - MVP
For solid blocking and never letting the ogre get the best of him
