“Alas the scoreline does not always reflect the game. After making numerous defensive mistakes, Rob was lucky to win this match. He survived 8 block dice at the end of the first to score the equalizer. My players filled the injury list incredibly quickly as scores of 6s saw numbers drop to just 3 players from (I think) turn 4 onwards for the second half. Despite this I managed to knock the ball carrier down at least 3 times, exploiting space that should not have been available. Fortunately for Rob his ag2 never really failed the ag rolls so every time I got the ball in the open it popped straight back into the hands of a player on his team, usually without him requiring to do anything.”
