The new Vampire team with a penchant for feasting on circus clowns pulled through their first game with a rather sedated victory this evening. The Juggler's had arrived late due to vampire player Count Down locating a small hamlet that made for a good pre-game feed, but they still looked like scoring at any given opportunity, despite being as useful as a monkey in an elephant stampede when it came to inflicting damage on their human opponents.
The Ex-S.T.A.R.S on the other hand seemed to have more fun punching through the Juggler's front line with aplomb, smashing Benny Schill's back into the middle of next month following one act of extreme brutality by ogre Dr Issacs. A shame that they neglected to pick up the ball throughout, which found it's way unnervingly into the hands of Lord Bitten on two occasions bagging a brace and most valuable player for his efforts.
The pre-hamlet feed was sufficient enough that the Vampires in the squad had mostly sated their blood lust, ensuring that more than enough successful plays were developed. Still a few loose balls being dropped meant it wasn't a thoroughly convincing display and if the S.T.A.R.S had managed to pick up the ball, it could have been a much more difficult game. Especially as only eight of the Juggler's remained on the pitch at the end of the match. Coach clownfoot has iterated that come their next training session "the punch bags are out and the passing gloves are on, the bunch of useless numpties..." ”
