“Ok, I;m a bad loser - so when I say I feel the result was "relatively" that is probably the most praise I have ever given to an opponent after being defeated.

When my opponents only player with a niggling injury managed to roll a one at the beginning of the game, putting him down to 10 starters I thought I was in for a sure victory.

Anumael received, SI'd one of my beastmen early on and looked sure to score a 2nd turn TD. He was then extremely unlucky rolling a double 1 to dodge on the touchline. However my out-maneuvered team where unable to clear the ball and he soon corrected his earlier misfurtune.

After him scoring it was down to me to receive, unbelievable he got blitz, SI'd another beastman (still no injuries to him) and caught the ball (which landed 1 square away from being on his half of the pitch. It became relatively messy and I ended up better off, finally getting my share of the luck and making a nice completion, going onto equalise.

In the second half he made it 2-1, I then equalised again to 2-2, through out this half the injuries began to even up, but too little to late from my point of view.

Many small things could have turned the game, in the end 2-3 reflects a fair result. The 2 main problems for me where:

1. My beast was uncharacteristically not very good through out the game - every time I would have seriously used his tentacles to stop them elves dodging he failed his really stupid roll (always on 2+ rolls).

2. I was unable to tke down his blitzers with my crucial blitzers, I would blame this on the lack of tackle skill in my team, however I rolled nothing but pure pushbacks. I suppose it is my fault for having not enough RR's (an issue I was already aware of and am addressing)

Well done to Anumael who deserved his win.

Ps. My luck was 57%, not 58%, until I handed of to my beast on the 16th turn because I had nothing else to do!”
